Career development and opportunities
Acumen Care Services is proud to be able to offer employees, who remain with the company, the opportunity to gain nationally recognised qualifications and to progress into different roles within the health and social care sector.
Acumen Care Services is an employer who promotes employees working to, and around, their own availability. For employees who are able to consistently work the equivalent of full-time hours each week, we can offer out full-time contracts, pending the employee is flexible in locations of work and is able to obtain positive feedback from the clients we work with.*
We always look to our current employees when opportunities arise within the office and management team. As the company expands further, we would identify roles within our planning, management, recruitment, HR and payroll teams.
Our sister companies, Connective Care Education and Acumen Care Education, could also have opportunities within the near future.
With regards to Connective Care Education, you could have the opportunity to train as a Health and Social Care Assessor. If successful, you would be supported by a fully qualified assessor, with the opportunity of becoming a fully qualified assessor yourself. Connective Care Education will support you with the mandatory training and development required for the role.
*Applicants for the full-time contract must have previous experience and a QCF level 2 in Health and Social Care at minimum.
Acumen Care Education is a well-established training provider within the health and social care sector. As the company further expands, they could be on the lookout for experienced health and social care workers to become part of the training team. Initially, trainees would work with the training team on an adhoc basis, with the opportunity of becoming a fully qualified trainer. Acumen Care Education would support you with all mandatory training and development required for the role.
